Terms & Condition of Sale of Horses

1. A purchaser can secure their new Horse by payment of a 10% deposit, which then forms a contract to purchase. Alternatively the full purchase price may be paid.

2. All horses are open to VET and we encourage – for peace of mind – that all purchasers have their new horse vetted prior to the payment of the balance.

3. When the deposit is paid the purchaser must state if a veterinary examination is required, whether 2 or 5 stage vetting, and it must be carried out & expected to be done within 5 days of the payment of the deposit. If the purchaser is unable to obtain a vetting within this time, then the time period may be extended at the seller's discretion.

4. If the purchaser should change their mind about proceeding with the purchase then the deposit is forfeit.

5. If the vetting has not been undertaken within 10 days then the contract is deemed cancelled by the purchaser, and the deposit is then forfeit unless this time has been extended at the discretion of the seller. See conditon 3 above.

6. In the event that the Horse should fail the veterinary examination then the deposit is fully refundable.

7. Following the successful vetting of the Horse then the purchase price balance is due within 36 hours, else the contract is deemed cancelled by the purchaser and the deposit is forfeit. The seller then reserves the right to re-sell the horse.

8. After the balance has been paid we request that the horse be collected within 3 days. The seller reserve the right to make a charge for livery for horses left for longer than this period.

9. We strongly recommend that all horses be insured from the date of purchase.

10. Payment may be made by CASH, or Bank transfer.

11. The pre-purchase veterinary examination on behalf of the purchaser is the purchaser's opportunity to verify the Horse's physical condition, and we encourage purchasers to have pre-purchase veterinary inspections undertaken.
